Hello Community, I’m Maine Williams, and I am lost as to where and how to begin in this wonderful real estate world as a wholeseller and investor… I recently lost my W2 as a Train Conductor and I have a -$467 bank account. Where do I begin? And, how?

No hand-outs, please. I need a leg up.

Hey @Dispomoneymike @Zoerene @Peter Osmanski @Cory Boatright with the experience you have, maybe you can give this new colleague some help! 😀

Hi @Maine, Welcome aboard!

To learn how to make the most of the Investorlift platform, I advise you to take our university's short courses, which will put you one step ahead:

I’m rooting for you @Maine

Watch Dispo Day live on Wednesday to watch some masters at work. It’s a lot of fun, and I think it inspires a lot of our wholesalers to try new things and collaborate.

Hi @Maine, if time is of the essence to get started consider this rather than trying to start from scratch. A potential way to get a jump start is to find the biggest wholesalers in your market and offer to do something for them. Call stale / old leads, cold call for them, or just let them know you want to learn and ask how you can help for just a commission upon success. Just taking the action to cold call them already shows drive so you may be surprised how effective it can be. What you get in addition to being able to start earning some commission or referral money, is learning by watching and being a part of the process. That is far more valuable than anything you can read or watch on YouTube, there is no substitute for learning by doing!
