Hi community!

You asked, and we delivered! 🚀

We just rolled out SMS messaging as a new channel alongside email and MMS. Now, you have more ways to reach buyers!

If you've ever felt like your marketing campaigns were getting too expensive, this update is for you. SMS is cheaper than MMS, meaning you can send more messages, connect with more buyers, and close more deals—without the high costs.

SMS costs 2 IC per segment.
MMS costs 3 IC per segment.

📢 If you’re not using SMS yet, now’s the time!

Let us know in the comments: How will you use SMS to sell more deals? ⬇️

Need a way to have our imported buyers that have already confirmed/opted in to receive SMS alerts on deals outside of investorlift actually be opted in without having InvestorLift having to re-opt them in all over again.

We have a ton of opt-in buyers from our CRM outside of InvestorLift that we text deals to, but when we upload that same list, only an extremely small fraction ever actually opt in.

As of now, it's been a waste to text deals through InvestorLift because of this, and we have to use other means. Should be a checkbox when uploading and/or after uploading our buyers list such as “Have these buyers already been opted in to receive sms notifications?”

Hi @Anthony Price!

Thank you for your feedback! Due to legal requirements each platform requires its own explicit opt-in, including Investorlift, so we’re unable to mark existing contacts as opted-in for alerts. We appreciate your understanding and are always here to help if you have any questions!

I understand. Just saying it bad for us users when we can’t text our buyers who already opted in. Basically make investor lift texting unusable since it hard to have our buyer opt in a 2nd time all over again.

@Anthony Price It looks like 2k of your imported buyers are opted in to receiving SMS from Investorlift. Is it significantly lower than what you have on your side?

Much much lower. I’m in roughly 7 different markets and thousands of buyers in each market with phone number that have opted in. Every single person I’ve uploaded into my investorlift account as opted in already through my website outside of investorlift but yet investorlift only opted in 2k.

Hey Anthony,

Sorry for the delay!

You’re absolutely right to be concerned. I have several key thoughts on this:

  1. Investorlift has a built-in feature to collect buyer opt-ins. Here’s an article explaining how it works—have you had a chance to try it?

  1. Another approach is to send your buyers an SMS asking them to opt in directly through Investorlift, since that’s where you’re posting your deals. This also helps them recognize and expect emails from Investorlift.

  2. Now, I am sure you know this already, but I will mention again, that you still can send them the email campaigns without thinking about opt-ins as an extra push.

  3. While collecting opt-ins is important, it’s ultimately about selling your deal. Our AI Autopilot tool significantly improves sales success by targeting the right buyers—not just from your list but from our entire database, based on purchase likelihood.

As a bonus, I’d be happy to run your first AI Autopilot campaign for free so you can see how it works firsthand.

Let me know if this helps!
