In this article, we'll walk you through connecting your CRM to Investorlift through Zapier. Zapier is an easy app that can connect Investorlift to apps like Salesforce, Podio, Hubspot, and many more.

What You'll Need

 

1. Your Investorlift Admin login

2. Your CRM login (e.g., Podio, InvestorFuse, SalesForce, ActiveCampaign, FreedomSoft, Hubspot, etc...)

3. A Zapier login

 

How to Setup Your Zapier Integration

 

Follow these steps to setup your Zapier account for your leads:

  1. Go to your seller site and push through a test lead. Make sure to answer all the questions on your lead form.

  2. Login to Zapier or create a Zapier account if you don't have one already.

  3. Click Make a Zap in the top-right corner of your Zapier account.

  1. Select Investorlift from the "Connect this app" dropdown menu. Then, select your CRM from the dropdown under "with this one".

  1. Select New Lead under "When this happens" and the action you want to take (e.g., Create a New Opportunity) under "then do this!"

  1. Connect to your InvestorLift account and click Test Trigger to test the connection (watch the video above for step-by-step directions).

  1. Map all of the fields you want to pass from Investorlift into your CRM or external system.

  1. Submit a test to your CRM and check that it comes through with the mapping you want.

  1. Turn on Zap!

Add Zapier API Keys to my CRM

  1. Click on your username in the top menu
  1. Click Settings
  1. Click Zapier Integration in the right menu, and copy and paste your API key from that page into Zapier.

Podio

 

Podio does not use API keys. Instead, login to your Podio account before logging into Zapier. When you add Podio as an output in Zapier, the system will automatically connect to your Podio account.
